One of the fastest growing ways to make some quick cash on the internet is through affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing is actually a very broad term used to describe any one of a number of different activities, and is usually thrown around pretty casually. In layman's terms all it means is that you are selling a company's products, and in exchange for your salesmanship, they are going to give you a nice little compensation. Not the big, bad monster we though it was just ten seconds ago, right?
This is where everyone brings up the question of, "How do I sell this stuff dude?" Good to see you're on the ball here, but let's do the "what" before we do the "how". What is it you would like to sell? Better yet, where do we look to find these "affiliate programs"? Here's where you're gonna be surprised beyond belief, almost every major online company out there has some sort of affiliate program. Zappo's? Definitely. Amazon? Check. Wanda's Wonderful World of Widgets? Sure. Give it a shot, go check out an online retailer right now that interests you. Search their site for an affiliate program, and ten bucks says you'll find one. This is where they are going to list their terms and conditions for the program, and give you the commission rates which are super important. Some programs are better than others so do plenty of searching before you decide on anything for sure.
Now that we've got our product of choice selected, let's move on! This is where the fun part starts, we get to pour our heart out on why we love this product so much. What's going to happen now is we need to write an article that gets people emotionally involved with your product. The better your writing skills are, the bigger your income with this project will be. What happens now is that you need to go to Google and type in "article directory". These are where people submit articles on most every topic, which you should also do now. The more you submit your article to, the more money you can potentially make. In all seriousness, if you wanna make some cash you'll have to submit these to quite a few directories. Each directory should have a resource box for each article you submit, always remember to add your affiliate link in here.
