Advances in Narrowboat design

In days now past the Narrowboat was used as a work horse to carry the bulk of the cargo around England. However those days have long gone and the modern Narrowboat is built more for the leisure secor.
It is now common to see the part time used pottering around up and down the canals and waterways just messing about on the water. It is a far throw from the past use of the Narrowboat as a commercial craft as it once was used.
The modern Narrowboat's have almost everything pre- fitted to avery high standard by master craftsmen who have learnt there skills over a long time and have updated to meet the large demand for luxury boats rather that commercial craft. They offer everything from luxury bedrooms and fully fitted kitchens to steer assist and bow thrusters.
Just recently the need for entertainment systems for the Narrowboat has rocketed as well as people use the Narrowboat more for weekend breaks and holidays. It would seem as though the television has become a form of media that we just do not want to exist without. This has prompted the introduction of the satellite system for Narrowboats.
The satellite system for Narrowboats is available in many types of system from a fully automatic systems that track to portable systems that sit on the deck. The most common type of the Narrowboat satellite system being the in-motion Camos Dome system, with its ability to watch the satellite as the boat is moving. This puts it in a league of its own as no other system can do the same thing.

It would seem that since the introduction of the tv, life just isn't the same as it was. No more do we spend hours enjoying the Narrowboat for its peaceful and quiet way of life but would rather sit inside watching the Narrowboats self contained satellite system and miss the beauty that the canals of the UK have to offer.
So when it comes to the enjoying a holiday on the water, you should think about what a Narrowboat has to offer. It has everything for the family wanting to just get away from it all, without going to a huge extreme.
